Soups are easy and healthy meals that you can eat for multiple days. Especially on cold winter days, soups just hit differently! Puré soups are great, as you can make as many variations as possible. Have you tried creamy sweet potato-carrot soup with coconut cream and chili? Chicken soup,or a tasty, creamy, tomato soup? Add a piece of toast on the side, and the hunger stays away!
3. Pesto pasta = good old classic
The simplest but always a tasty meal. All you need is pasta, pesto, cherry tomatoes, and maybe some garlic cloves. To make it more filling, you could always add chicken. Boil the pasta, chop the cherry tomatoes and garlic cloves, and roast in the pan. If you have chicken, bake that before adding the tomatoes. Add boiled pasta to the mixture and mix with pesto. Voilá!
A great, healthy meal with endless variations if you have an oven in your student flat. Chop broccoli, zucchini, onion, carrot, potatoes (or sweet potatoes), and paprika into pretty big pieces. Throw all in one bowl and mix them with oil, spices, and honey. Put on a baking tray in the oven and let it bake for 45 minutes. Bake halloumi cheese in the pan to add on the side - tasty and easy! Change the veggies according to the seasonal changes to get them as low price as possible!
5. Pizza - because you deserve it
Homemade pizza is easy to make with just a few ingredients, and you get it with the exact toppings you want. All you’ll need:
1.5 dl of water
2 teaspoons of yeast
3 dl of flour
⅓ spoon of salt
1.5 tablespoons of oil
Mix all the ingredients together and create the pizza on an oven tray. Add your favorite toppings and bake in the oven at 225 degrees for at least 15 minutes. Simple as that!
